Founder:
The Company was founded in July 30th, 2005, and recognized by New York State Incorporations on October 27th, 2005. The art of drumming has always been a passion of mine. I have and continue to be privileged to serve in ministry for several churches, singing groups and recording artists. I also have had the pleasure in mentoring some of the Christian community's most talented in private one on one drum lessons. My personal belief is that what you do for Christ will last. As a people we should be set apart from the world, a royal priest hood. I believe in being the head and not the tail. I am convinced, that just like any other instrument, the ministry of percussion can be used to usher souls into the presence of the Almighty. It is with this mandate that there is a need to organize and gather these talents in a media format, such as this magazine, which will act as the vehicle to bring us all, under one accord.

Mission:
To, emphasize Christ as the main focus. To, learn the drummer's role in worship. To, help build chops. To, nurture the drummer to be well rounded up.

Purpose:
The Gospel Drummer's Round Up objective is to understand the purpose and necessity of the drums in today's worship settings, recordings, and other performance situations. The courses that will be offered to the beginning and/or intermediate musicians will range from; how and when to play the loud sounding cymbal to when to play the high sounding cymbal.

Content:          Our magazine has four major departments.

1. The main department focuses on:
• Inspirational interviews with today’s top artist.
• Lessons-Reading Notes 101. We will teach notations at all levels.
• Transcriptions of anointed grooves from our top artists.
• Church spotlight where we high-light churches on the move and the drummers behind the music.
• Shed workshops conventions where we learn face to face with top professionals.
• Desk of the month, (kit of the month) where readers send in pictures of their set-up at church or gig.
• Readers’ corner spotlights a lighter side of drumming where the funniest situations occurred while playing is featured.


2. Our spiritual corner here we focuses on:
• The Christian walk of the individual, through inspirational articles written by men of God.
•  Individuals will be nurtured by practical applications from a biblical perspective.

3. Our finance corner:
• Here you learn about money management options, outlined by professional accountants, banks and other finance institutions.


4. Our health corner:
• We learn about our bodies.
• Dieting
• Exercise programs

And a host of other health related topics.

Our Staff:  Our staff consists of a Publisher, senior editor, freelance editors, web designer/publishers, graphic artist, typesetter, performing artist/teachers, and a host of volunteer/freelance drummer’s drawn from our membership pool.

Distribution:   Our magazine is distributed through paid subscription via the internet at: http://www.gospeldrummerroundup.com, where the subscriber can access the website and download a copy of the magazine unto their hard drive.

Our frequency of distribution will be six times for the year, with our first issue in January 6th, 2006.

Our free newsletter consists of upcoming news about the industry and to announce the release of the new issues.

Conclusion:     Gospel Drummer’s Round Up, is a magazine that will inspire, teach, develop, organize and support the drummer as he/she hones his craft as an instrumentalist.  Our sources are legitimate experts in the field who agree with our purpose and strive not only to keep the art form alive but to aid in the building of character among young musicians alike.
